I like to do these short month in review posts as a reminder to me of what actually happened! There's always so much going and time just zips by, I literally need to take stock before it's all a blur.
June started with my return to Canada after two months in Europe, mostly Germany in a little town just outside of Dresden. This is our home away from home spot, in what my husband and I like to call our alternate universe. (The same, but not the same.)
Summer is making a good effort to arrive and I always love it when I can set up my deck and work outside for the summer.
June saw the release of the second book in The Ginger Gold Mystery Series – Murder at Hartigan House. I'm so happy with how well this series is being received by readers. I love how they are connecting with Ginger Gold and the 1920s era. Puts a spring to my step! 😃
I've also be working diligently on the 3rd book, Murder at Bray Manor, on preorder now. Release date is July 31, which is also my birthday, so I'll be doing some fun giveaways for that.
Ginger Gold is a fashionista, which means I must be one too. (In actual fact, I'm not that fashion conscious. I tend to stick with classics rather than trends.) The 1920s was such a cool time for fashion, that it's not that hard to fall in love with it.
This big fat book just came in the mail and promises to be a big help.
The month ends with a bang into July 1st, which is Canada Day. It's a special birthday this year. Canada is 150 years old! (A toddler compared to the old country.) 🇨🇦😘
I Love the Ginger Gold series!! If there were 50 available I would read them one right after the other❤️ Thanks for the two I have read. I enjoy this type of heroine: rich and fashion savvy in the 1940s or before. Preferably before. I do like these stories set in England as are Ginger Gold’s. Thanks again for the excellent writing! FYI, I have preordered your next book.
This makes me very happy! Thanks for commenting!
