Can you believe it's the end of summer already? I know a lot of people have had more hot summer weather than they'd like, but here in the Okanagan Valley, it's actually been a cooler summer than usual. Good news for summer fire season, no smoke to deal with so far! It was a rare summer for Norm and me, with no vacations, company, or big events, but it was kind of nice that way. We tried our hand at golf and played a lot of pickleball. Not to mention the two books and a short story volume we published.
How about you? How was your summer? Do anything fun or special?
Need something family-friendly to listen to while you're traveling this Labour Day Weekend?
Audiobooks are a great way to unwind. Just put your feet up and close your eyes... and you'll be whisked away to another world.
Here are just a few of the reasons why I love audiobooks.
Productivity - Audiobooks are a great way to catch up on your ever-growing TBR pile while also making chores more interesting (who knew washing dishes could be fun?!)
Travel - They make the perfect traveling companion. Whether you're driving or flying for the holidays audiobooks are a great way to make layovers and slow traffic more bearable.
Portable - You can take audiobooks with you wherever you go whether you're going for a brisk walk or waiting in the doctor's office.
These are my reasons. What are yours?
