Summer of 2016 was a quintessential introvert – arrived late and left early! Normally, I don't have a problem with introvert-like behavior, completely understand, but when it comes to summertime, I prefer an extrovert. 🙂
I shouldn't complain. At least there were no floods, hurricanes, tornadoes, earthquakes or (major) forest fires in my neck of the woods.
I'm back on the blog after being away for the month of August. I accomplished what I'd hope to – new round of revisions of sekret project completed and sent off to agents, and a successful round trip to Seattle for my daughter's OAT – optometry entrance exam. We're both happy she passed and can put that behind us.
What's up next?
Twinkle Little Star is still on the docket for this fall, probably releasing closer to December, thanks to sekret project. If you've been waiting for it, thank you for your continued patience. One thing I love about the turn of the calendar into September is the renewed vigor to get things done. I will get this done!
I'm also off to Germany again for seven weeks starting Sept 20. This time to a new town and a new flat. Should be exciting. I'll be posting more about that when the time comes. If all goes well, a visit to Frankfurt Book Fair will be part of that.
Are you ready for September? Can you believe we're there already?
Apparently Costco thinks we're in November.
Next week I'll get back to Author Tip Tuesday and Free/bargain Book Friday. See you there!
Welcome back to blog land! But turn off that Christmas tree picture already; I do NOT want to see that yet.
