My husband and I, along with our 22 year old daughter, escaped to Mexico from frosty British Columbia for most of February. We're exploring what it would be like to snowbird in our future. Most mornings were spent working and afternoons at the beach. Not a bad way to live!

We rented the bottom half of a small house in Sayulita, about an hour north of Puerto Vallarta. Sayulita is fun, surfing village with a great vibe. A nice blend of locals and tourists.

We had company every day.

On the work front, I'm making good progress on the first book in the Ginger Gold Mystery series, Murder on the SS Rosa. I'm spending a lot of time researching the 1920s — fashion, customs, crime — so interesting. I'm really happy with how my heroine Ginger Gold is developing. I hope you'll love her as much as I am loving her.
On the down side, I dropped my laptop off the couch onto the tile floor and now my trackpad is acting up. I can't drag and drop or copy and paste, which makes things a lot more difficult. Yes, I've relaunched finder and rebooted. As soon as I get home, it's off to the Macbook hospital! Or if you have a solution, please let me know.

Just a thought, you can use a regular mouse while you’re waiting to have the laptop fixed. I hate a track pad, so I use a mouse most of the time on mine. Good luck!
Will have to buy a mouse as soon as I get home!
