Celebrating life’s milestones…

My youngest just graduated from University of British Columbia Okanagan with a degree in science.

It's an accomplishment for us both. 🙂

I feel like I should say more. It was pouring rain, but that didn't dampenanyone's spirits. These grads worked hard and looked great and stood tall and proud as they should. A lot of umbrella pictures. I never graduated from university and it's something I sort of wish I had done. It's a two-sided wish: if I'd gone, I wouldn't have started the life I have now, which includes this beautiful girl. Instead I'm a student of the university of life ( I know, we all are), and I throw myself into my studies. How to love well, how to live life to the fullest, how to laugh. How to read a lot. We have such easy access to information, and I'm grateful to be able to feed my intellect as much as I want, and for the most part, for free.

I'm hopeful for my daughter, that she'll have a long, happy, healthy, productive life. Living it one day at a time. Like we all must.

By God's grace. 🙂
